Packed lunch for 60p each
Beef and pita bread (60p each)
Ingredients:
400g lean mince beef (£2)
250g mushrooms (85p)
6 pita breads (60p)
1 garlic clove
Total: £3.60
Instructions:
Season the beef meat with salt, pepper, spices and 1 garlic clove. Cook in the microwave for 5 mins, this will allow a watery fat to come out of your meat, leaving it fat free. Cook the mushrooms in a separate bowl in the microwave as well. Mix the two together. Heat each pita bread in a toaster for about 2 mins, open them at one of the ends and fill them with the mixture. These breads will give you a very filling protein rich sandwich for 6 lunch days. Enjoy.

Frozen meat is more economic than fresh. Best places to buy:
- Iceland - iceland has some great burgers and pork and beef stakes for £2 or less
- Asda - smart price frozen meat is a real bargain
- Local market - usually have great bacon and sausages for a lot less than supermarkets
